Senior Teacher - Full time / Part Time

Maternity Cover

MPS / UPS + TLR 2a

We need your skills and enthusiasm to make our vision a reality and having taken our first steps we are now seeking an experienced champion of children (senior teacher) who has a passion for developing others to join our team.

 

In your role as senior teacher you will use your knowledge, creativity and ability to quickly establish rapport and routine with colleagues, children and the community. We need you to share and model your command of our craft and bring your up to date knowledge of educational research and enthusiasm for collaborative working to support and develop teachers at all stages of their career.

 

Working as a member of the senior leadership team and in collaboration with them your main responsibilities will be managing the CPD programmes for all staff including ECT and ITT as well as induction and probation processes. You will also work closely with the SENCo to enable interventions, seeking opportunities for tuition and external provider support and ensuring a small group of children accessing off site provisions are monitored and cared for.

Support Staff Roles - 30hrs a week, 39 weeks a year

We need your skills and enthusiasm to make our vision a reality and having taken our first steps we are now seeking amazing individuals to join us on this exciting journey in the following roles:

 

Higher Level Teaching Assistant – SEND support Are you passionate about offering the right support at the right time to remove barriers to learning? Can you support others to deliver high quality interventions? If so, we need your creativity, sensitivity and exceptional organisational skills to ensure every child receives the adaptions and assistance they need. Working under the direction of the SENDCo you will model key support strategies to other adults in the school, preparing resources, supporting with administration and enabling the effective use of time and resources. You will also lead small group and individual interventions to meet the diverse needs of our exceptional and amazing learners. Full details & an application form can be found here.

 

Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Reading support Do you have experience of leading groups and organising resources for the Read, Write Inc. and Fresh Start programmes? Can you demonstrate your skills and understanding of how children learn to read to others?  If so we need your passion for books and your organised, meticulous and methodical nature to ensure every child in our school develops a deep love of reading. Working along our phonics and reading leaders you will play a key role in ensuring fidelity to the programmes used by leading groups and interventions and modelling these to others; you will support the collection of accurate assessment and will maintain the resources needed so every adult and child has what they need to enable and experience success.

Teaching Assistant (Grade 2) - Classroom support  Do you believe that you hold the key that could unlock a child’s potential? Are you able to quickly form relationships and model great communication? Can you spot when to support individuals and when to use your skills more generally to support the broad range of needs in the class? If so, we need you as part of our hardworking, dedicated and skilled teaching assistant team. Previous experience is desirable, although support and training can be offered.
