This week, Year 4 continued our study of the Ancient Greeks and spent time researching the different gods and goddesses. We enjoyed learning about their powers and the roles they played in Greek mythology. So far, Zeus has definitely been our favourite!

It was also a very exciting week as we voted for our School Parliament representatives. Children who wished to stand for election prepared and delivered speeches to their classmates, sharing their ideas and explaining why they would be a good representative. Everyone then had the chance to cast their vote. It was a great opportunity to learn about democracy and taking part in fair elections. We were excited to discover that democracy was first developed by the Ancient Greeks, linking perfectly with our history learning.
