This week we have all settled down really well into Year 1. We have been learning alongside our friends who will be going to the new SEU Class opening on Monday. 

This week we have looked at our feelings through a story called 'The Colour Monster'. We all have feelings, it is important to be able to show others how we feel and also be uncontrol of our feelings. 

        We are learning how to control some emotions by using 'Happy Breathing'.

                                                 Can we tell you how the colour monster feels when he is different colours?                                                          In Maths we have been choosing numbers and using our manipulatives – cubes from Base 10.                    We use 1-1 correspondence to count out the correct number.

   Subitising numbers to 5 is still a bit tricky for some of us!
