This week in DT, we designed and made our own kaleidoscopes. We explored how kaleidoscopes work by learning about mirrors and the reflection of light before creating our own unique designs. It was fantastic to see the different patterns and colours produced when we looked through our finished kaleidoscopes!

We also began publishing our non-chronological reports about the Highwaymen. The children have impressed us with their presentation skills, taking great pride in their work and focusing carefully on producing neat, joined handwriting. Their hard work and attention to detail have resulted in some beautifully presented pieces of writing.
