This week in Year 2/3 we have been trying to keep cool!

Miss Gaffer's class dipped their toes to cool down, and all three classes enjoyed ice lollies to beat the heat!

In science this week, Year 2/3 finished their learning about plants by creating some plant life cycle spinners. Next week we move on to learning about light and shadows!

In writing this week, we planned and started writing our tweaked Jack and the Beanstalk stories. We have chosen the names of our characters, plants to grow and who they meet along the way. We also finished reading the story 'Rhythm of the rain'.

We also finished our Artist studies this week. Miss Gaffer and Mrs Dennington's classes completed some impasto-inspired work and Mrs Kirk's class completed some beautiful digital flower work.
