Production rehearsals are well and truly underway now, and it has been fantastic to see everything starting to come together. The children have been working incredibly hard on their songs, dances and lines. Please keep encouraging them to practise at home, as we would really like all lines to be secure by next week so we can make the most of our rehearsal time. Costume letters have now gone home, so please send costumes into school next week, clearly named. A reminder that, following the date change, our performances will now take place on Tuesday 14th July, with all children needed for both shows. Also, don't forget to return the reply slip for our Year 6 Leavers' Pizza and Water Fight if you would like your child to join us. Letters were sent home this week, and it promises to be a lovely way to celebrate together.

We have also wrapped up our swimming assessments this week, and it has been fantastic to see the progress the children have made, along with the confidence they have developed in the water. They have all enjoyed their high school transition visits too, returning with lots of positive stories and a real sense of excitement for the next chapter. As we begin putting together our Leavers' Assembly, we are starting to look back on the children's journey through The Willows. If you have any photographs from their time at school that you would be happy for us to share, we would love to include them in our celebrations. With another spell of very warm weather forecast next week, children are welcome to wear their PE kit throughout the week. Please make sure they arrive wearing sun cream and bring a named water bottle each day.
