This week, in science Year 2/3 recalled the parts of the plants and learnt about their functions. They also took part in a plant dissection and got a closer look at different types of plants.

In art lessons this week, each class focussed on a different artist. 2/3HD looked at Andy Warhol and completed some pop art prints. 2/3RG learnt about David Hockney and created some digital artwork. 2/3AL completed a study on Shannon Berg and created flowers using foam clay. 

In literacy, we started learning about the features of a narrative and acted out some scenes from our model text Jack and the Beanstalk!
