This week in 1MF our learning has been hot. I have never taught in such hot conditions, but we coped really well and adapted our learning to the extreme situation amazingly well in our classroom. We had a new fan and ice lollies to set up the week.

In English, we have been writing about the seasons; Winter/Spring/Summer/Autumn.

We continue in Art with our printing in the style of William Morris. We made a clay stamp with Miss Kasey and printed a black stamp around the outside of our pattern to create a border.      

The Press Print repeat pattern was carried out independently by another group and proved successful.

In PSHE, we have been learning about our body parts. Some parts are the same and some are different between males and females / boys and girls. You can see some body parts on the outside, some private parts are inside the body.

                                Mrs Head came to our class with an ice lolly treat and our fan!  Thank you.                                                    We also went to visit our new class teachers in Yr2 – Miss Mayhew and Miss Moore.
