It's important in year 6 that we keep a balance of learning all the way through the year, so this week we have enjoyed 6 diving deeper into our Enquiry question: “What matters more, talent or hard work?” This theme has allowed us to draw some natural links between our work in art, English and history starting with an exploration of the life and artistic style of Michelangelo. Take a look below at some of our observation drawings – look at the fine details we noticed across all of his work.

Our writing this term has started with biographies, and we have worked really hard to apply year 6 expected grammatical structures and punctuation across our extended writing. Next week, we move on to Banksy, to apply our hard work to a contrasting artistic style. Let’s wait and see where our talents lie…
