This week Year 2/3 have been artists and have created a sculpture of an animal using clay. They used different tools to help shape the clay. We have had a variety of animals, from cats to rabbits, pandas to giraffes!

Year 2/3 have also started a writing unit all about performance poetry. They have been inspired by the poem 'Elephant Beat' and each class has tweaked the poem to create their own! 2/3Hd have written Monkey Beat, 2/3RG have created Penguin Beat and 2/3AL have made Tiger Beat. All classes are looking forward to learning and performing their poems to each other next week!
