Year 2/3 have had a chilly week this week learning all about polar habitats!

We have started to find out about non-chronological reports and the features they have. We annotated the model text to show the title, subheading, paragraphs, conjunctions, expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials. We will learn about these in more detail over the next few weeks!

Our enquiry this term is all about how artists show us nature in detail. We started with a study about The Kelpies in Scotland and spoke about what we liked about the sculptures. We even learnt that they have names, Duke and Barron!

2/3HD had their class visit to the library this week. We took a short walk to Chantry Library, picked up our library cards and explored the books they had on offer!
