This week some visitors arrived in our classroom...five little caterpillars! It is our job to look after them and watch them transform into butterflies. We have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and we are very excited to see all the changes over the next few weeks. 

We have been busy builders using different construction materials. We thought carefully about the height of our structures and what we can do to help them balance. We were focussed, resilient and worked together. 

In our outdoor area we have been developing our gross motor skills by climbing, swinging and jumping. In the sand pit we added water to compare dry and wet sand and how it could change what we use it for. We found that wet sand is better for making sculptures.
