Wk ending 27/3/26

This week, our Year 5 pupils enjoyed a wonderfully immersive French-themed day. They tasted a selection of traditional French foods, cooked their very own warm apple filling (compote de pommels) to use in delicious crêpes, and explored cuisine from around the world. The children also took a fascinating look back in time as they learnt about the French Revolution, gaining a real sense of the events that shaped French history.

Alongside their classroom learning, Year 5 have been making the most of the new playground equipment. The parachute has quickly become a firm favourite, with the children working together to invent energetic games and challenges. It’s been fantastic to see such teamwork, enthusiasm, and creativity outdoors this week.
