It was chocolate week!

Year 2/3 had the best time making and taste testing their own chocolate bars. They learnt the skills of melting, pouring and decorating. The children also created their own wrappers with foil and card. They also evaluated their bars, writing about what they liked and disliked as well as any changes they would make to their designs. 

Within Literacy lessons, Year 2/3 wrote their own recipes for their chocolate bars. They included imperative verbs, number steps and an introduction.

2/3KG also had their class assembly this week. They spoke about how Willy Wonka uses his imagination and the lessons all the characters learnt.
