This week, Year 5 have enjoyed a busy and exciting week of learning across the curriculum. In geography, we explored human and physical features, comparing these in London and Paris. We used a mind map to deepen our understanding of Paris, focusing on its social and cultural features, landmarks, physical geography, and jobs.

In science, we investigated materials and their properties, learning which materials are best suited for different purposes, such as using transparent glass for windows.

In writing, we have been developing our travel brochures and practising how to use parenthesis to add extra information and make our writing more engaging. It has been a fantastic week of thoughtful discussion and creative learning.
