At The Willows Primary School we recognise that some of our pupils are carers for their parents or younger/ older siblings and believe it is important to provide them with emotional support. 

Our school's inclusion team run monthly meetings with our young carers and these meetings are also attended by a member of the Suffolk Young Carers team.

The school works with Suffolk Young Carers to provide support for our pupils. Suffolk Young Carers provide monthly clubs for primary aged carers to meet up and take part in a range of activities. There are also additional opportunities for young carers to take part in other activities such as short residentials, sports activities, trips to special places and more.
