In EYFS this week, we have been learning all about Internet Safety ahead of Safer Internet Day on 10th February 2026. We enjoyed reading Chicken Clicking and used the story to help us understand why it is so important to stay safe online. The children discussed how we never truly know who we might be talking to or playing games with on our devices and explored simple, safe ways to use technology responsibly.

As part of our Geography learning, we have also been developing our understanding of directional language. The children have been using Bee‑Bots to practise giving and following instructions such as forward, backwards, left, right and next to. They loved planning routes, solving problems and working together to help their Bee‑Bots travel to different places.

It has been a fantastic week of learning, curiosity and exploration. The children have shown great enthusiasm as they build the foundations for safe digital habits and early geographical skills.
