🌦️ Spring Term Learning

This Spring term, we are learning all about the weather and all the seasonal changes around the school. The children are exploring which countries are ❄️ very cold and which are ☀️ very hot, and discovering the different climates found around the world.

We will also be learning about where birds go during the winter 🐦❄️ and making our own bird feeders in DT 🛠️ to help feed the hungry birds when they return.

In English, we are focusing on active storytelling 📚✨ and retelling stories using actions and puppets. We will be retelling one of our favourite stories, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻👣. 

In Maths, we are learning about the composition of numbers to 5 🔢 and exploring different ways to make the number 5 using the part–part–whole model.

In My Happy Mind, we are learning all about our superhero powers 🦸‍♂️💫 and exploring ways we can be kind, show gratitude, and help others feel good and happy 💛.
