Welcome back to all our wonderful Year 6 pupils! It has been lovely to see everyone return with such enthusiasm, ready for an exciting year ahead. During our first few days together, we have been getting to know one another, establishing our classroom routines and thinking about the importance of believing in ourselves and embracing the Power of Yet.

Inspired by the remarkable life of Dolly Parton and her famous Coat of Many Colours, the children created their own vibrant “Coats of Possibility”. Each coat celebrates their strengths, challenges they have overcome, people who believe in them, things they cannot do yet, and their hopes for the future. What a joyful and thoughtful way to begin Year 6—daring to dream big and recognising that where we start does not determine where we can go!
