Wk ending 26/06/26

It has certainly been a very warm week in Year 6, but that hasn't stopped the children from working incredibly hard! Many of our pupils have enjoyed spending one or two transition days at their allocated secondary schools, giving them the opportunity to meet new teachers, explore their new surroundings and begin preparing for the exciting move to Year 7. Back at school, we have been keeping as cool as possible with regular water breaks, ice poles, water fun and by making the most of the shaded areas around the school. It has been lovely to hear all about the children's transition experiences and see their growing confidence about the next stage of their education.

Our production rehearsals have continued in full swing, with the children making fantastic progress as the performance draws closer. Please continue to encourage your child to learn both their lines and the lyrics to the songs at home, using the QR code below to access the music. Save the date! Our Year 6 production will take place on Thursday 9th July, with the Okey Cast performing at 2.00pm and the Dokey Cast performing at 6.00pm. We will also be holding dress rehearsals for the rest of the school, with more information to follow. We can't wait to share all the children's hard work with you!
