We have had a busy week! We’ve been putting into action our big question — What matters more: talent or hard work? — and the children have really risen to the challenge. There has been hard work in abundance in writing lessons, with lots of perseverance as children draft, redraft, and push their ideas further, aiming high for greater depth writing craft. Excitement is also building around the school production, with talent shining through in auditions and singing sessions. Most people agreed that hard work was the key to success, so one class put it to the test in a clay-building project on Friday, testing whether skill or effort made the bigger difference in clay-carved hands. The second class will enjoy the same experience next week.

As we move closer to the show, it would be wonderful if families could help children practise the songs at home to build their confidence – QR codes to access the songs have come home with children this week. The link is also attached here should you need it.  Scripts will be coming home next week too, so the children can begin learning their lines.
