This week we have finally managed to finish our 'Press Print Pattern' in the style of 'William Morris'.   We can tell you what comes next in our pattern. We also learnt about how we build up and layer our block ink using a roller... Starting with the lightest colour to the darkest one.  We developed our pattern carefully and used the roller slowly and effectively to then print... step one... step two... and step three. Finally, we made a block stamp using clay to border the pattern we had printed. We also tore newspaper to recreate William Morris's artwork called 'Trellis' on top of our pastel design work.

We ended our week by sharing a picnic outside with our friends in 1MF. It was a lovely day and we have all had a good week.
