Yr1 Maths check-in: Practical Learning is always fun, we need to use concrete resources and these help support our learning. We then work things out 'Pictorially'.  Our Pre-frontal Cortex is used to work out challenges using numbers from 50 to 100. 

As our number knowledge develops, our learning is abstract, which is when we know it!  Our Hippocampus takes over, telling our brain that we now know our numbers from 0 to 100.      

Our beans had grown so much that we sent them home.

In RE this week we have been learning more about Judaism.    We made the special Jewish bread they eat during Shabbat.

We continue our art journey by sketching our favourite parts of William Morris's artwork.
