1MF have been on a journey this week. We have won the bell for the best attendance this week.                                                                                                We have all completed our Phonics Screening Test this week.

What does phonics practice look like in 1MF?                                                                                                                     I cannot say how important reading is. Not only does it support writing, but it unlocks many learning paths. We all work together in 1MF, individually, in partners and trios, helping each other and we always support each other's individual needs.                                                                                                                                      Phonics is fun, we are all engaged and focused on the challenge ahead.                                                            We all say: Special Friends or No Special Friends / Fred Talk / Read the word.

In English, we have been writing our own ACROSTIC Poem. We edited our poem to make it better - Final Piece to perform in front of others. We use our 'Talk to a few' voice.
