Wow- week 4 already! And it has been another busy one! 

We have been super busy in our learning – we have done a lot of Design and Technology this week. After the fun of tasting different snack bars a few weeks ago, and designing ones that were healthy but didn't include palm oil last week, this week we had the fun job of making them! 

We used oats, honey and butter as the base, but then were lucky enough to add different flavours, including dried fruit, cranberries, banana chips, chocolate chips and chocolate on the top. 

Whilst we really enjoyed the taste, they were very crumbly, so we think they need a slight tweak in the ingredients or how to cook the! We will be sending home our beautifully written-up recipes next week so we can have a go at home. Send in any photos if you make some!

As well as all our Design and Technology, 4EW had our class assembly this week. We didn't have a lot of time to practise, but we were really good at using all of our Mighty Oak speaking skills to say our words. We were really grateful to all the families who were able to come and support us.
