This week Year 2/3 were lucky to be visited by a theatre group! 

They enjoyed a performance of 'Grandad Anansi' which shared stories from Jamaica. 

During DT lessons this week, the children designed their own zoo enclosures for a range of new animals at Colchester Zoo! They were careful to ensure they added in food, water, shelter and an activity for the animals to play with. 

Within writing lessons, Year 2/3 have researched habitats and chosen to write about either oceans or woodlands. They also spent time this week creating fun expanded noun phrases and used fronted adverbials to make their writing more exciting!
