What a busy week we have had!

We have jumped straight back into the term with some work on our Mighty Oak speaking and listening. We have been working hard to write persuasive speeches, all about how we need to look after the world. We will be practising these some more next week and then presenting them! Watch this space!

In addition to this, 4HB and a few members of 4EW had Nicky, the leader of the Mighty Oak programme, come in to tell us all about how we can use our speaking and listening skills to really make sure we are listening to one another. We had to practise speaking and listening to our partners while we described a picture. It was much harder than it sounds! 

In 4EW, we had our first visit from the mental health team, who are teaching us how we  can use our brains to help us become more resilient, build friendships, and regulate our emotions. It was great fun!
