This week in Year 2/3 we have written our tweaked versions of the storm whale! Some of us chose to change the characters' names and others chose to swap the storm whale for the storm shark!

In maths, Miss Churchyard's group focused on shapes and counting the sides of both 2d and 3d shapes. Mrs Dennington's group have been learning about all things money and this week they have learnt to make the same amount using different coins and notes. Miss Green's group have been recapping their table knowledge, focussing on the 3, 4, and 8 times tables. 

As part of our enquiry lessons Year 2/3 have started an artist study on Tarsila do Amaral. She is a Brazilian artist who uses bright colours and interesting shapes. Below is the artwork that we are going to use as inspiration!
