We have been learning about what 'Geography' means and will be exploring our amazing world to see where different places are and why they are special. We will learn how to use maps and globes to find the four countries of the UK – the United Kingdom and their capital cities. We will find out about the North and South Pole, 7 continents and name some of the deep oceans/seas. We will explore and understand why some parts of the world are very hot while others are icy cold, and how to spot "human" things like houses and "physical" things like mountains.
