This week, the children have been diving into the much‑loved story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. They have been practising their retelling skills, using actions, storytelling language, and lots of enthusiasm to bring the adventure to life.

In our small‑world play, the children created their own versions of the bear hunt, designing imaginative landscapes and exploring the different parts of the journey. They experimented with new ideas, changed the settings, and developed their own storylines, showing wonderful creativity and problem‑solving as they worked together.

It has been a fantastic opportunity for the children to build confidence in storytelling, develop rich vocabulary, and express their ideas through play.
