In Reception, the children have been busy learning about the post office and how letters are sent. We explored what a letter looks like, practised writing our own and even posted parcels to our friends. The children enjoyed role‑play activities, sorting and delivering mail and gained a real sense of excitement about sharing messages with others.

The children have been writing letters to Santa just like 'The Jolly Christmas Postman' and we will visit the postbox and send these to Santa next week!
