Wk ending 5/12/25
This week in year 6, we have continued exploring 'Is anything worth dying for?' and have looked at the impact of the Treaty of Versaille on countries all around the world. The children have worked hard to put together their own 'diamond nine' prioritising what they believed to be the most important parts of that agreement.
In maths, they have begun diving into the world of fractions which has required us to demonstrate our resilience, perseverance and determination to keep on going. Lots of times table practise at home would really support our learning in the coming weeks.
In writing, the children have finished creating the most beautiful and informative non-chronological reports all about WW1. They really are the experts now! Why not try quizzing them if you see them around school?
Not forgetting 6EM's marvellous class assembly where they presented a journey of just some of the work that they had been completing this term.
Another absolutely superb week for year 6!
