Welcome to The Willows!
Hi! We are some of the Year 6 pupils at The Willows and we’d love to welcome you to our school website and tell you why this is such a brilliant place to learn.
At The Willows, everyone is friendly and you always feel like you belong. Our school FISH values teach us to be respectful, kind, and resilient. We learn to be confident and independent so we’re ready for the future and we always try our best.
Lesson are always busy, but fun! Adults are kind and supportive – they really care about how we’re doing; you never need to be afraid to ask for help. We learn lots of exciting things, from writing stories and exploring history to solving maths challenges and carrying out science experiments. We also work closely with Ipswich Town Football Club’s foundation who support both our physical and mental health.
School lunches are delicious and there are lots of healthy choices each day. We have two playgrounds and a large field which are great spaces to explore, play games, or just chat with friends at breaktimes. After school, there are opportunities for sports, music and crafts, so everyone can find something they enjoy.
We feel proud to be part of The Willows every day because it’s a place where we work hard but we are also encouraged to be heroes and believe in ourselves.
